PRIMARY SCHOOL – We are again doing the refreshments for Nigel Ward's sale to raise funds for the school on July 4. The summer exhibition of our work runs from July 6- 9, 9am – 5.30pm. There will be an open day for new parents on Wednesday, July 8. On July 9, there will be a PTFA meeting at 3.30pm.

WOMENS GUILD – The meeting on July 2, will be a tea party at Pentwyn, by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Gunn. Members are asked to bring a friend and enjoy cream teas, all proceeds from various stalls will be donated to St. Michael's Hospice.

WALKERS - On July 4, the destination will be Grwyne Fawr Valley a distance of about seven miles.

MEDIEVAL PAGEANT – This will be staged at Ewyas Harold Castle on July 4, with a black powder gun opening at 2pm. There will be living history groups on the lower bailey and many stalls in keeping with the period of 500 years of the castle’s life. All proceeds will go to local good causes.

BARBECUE – July 4, starting at 6.30pm at Kilpeck Hall.

CONCERT – Fairfield School Orchestra performs on Sunday, July 5, at Dore Abbey starting at 5.30pm GARDEN SOCIAL – On Tuesday, July 7, at 6pm, at Rockyfold. Tickets £6 in aid of Wateraid. Stalls include Zimbabwe and local crafts, plants, tools, Rowlestone ice cream, Fairtrade and local produce.

COFFEE EVENING – In the lovely garden of 1 Callowside on Wednesday, July 8, from 7pm. There will be a bring and buy, cake stall and raffle. All proceeds to Breast Cancer Haven.
