PRIMARY SCHOOL - During Creative Learning Week pupils experienced lots of different activities from cooking to skateboarding, switching teachers every day and doing a different activity with them. Experts also came in to do activities including kite making, Pedro’s percussion, Adrianne Cradock murals, Filbert Splosh painting, team building and many other activities. This half of the summer term has started well with lots of excellent performances and good sporting attitudes. At a Year 5-6 rounders tournament at Kingstone we beat Madley. The cricket coaching is obviously paying dividends. Two teams from Years 3 and 4 went to a Kwik Cricket tournament in Hereford. Regardless of this being a debut in a school team for some of the players, they all played really well showing super teamwork. We also took two teams of Years 5s and 6s to a Kwik Cricket Tournament at Dorstone. Once more they all played extremely well with the A team not only beating Madley but winning the tournament to earn a place in the county finals.

Tonight (Thursday), there will be an induction evening at Kingstone High School for parents and children. Year 6 will be dragon boating at Dolygaer on June 26, followed by a barbecue at school and there wil be an induction day for Fairfield High School on June 29.
