FUN DAY – The fun day takes place this Saturday from 1pm to 4.30pm. Entrance is free. This event will be held on the recreation ground next to the village hall. There will be a tug-o-war, dog show and children’s fancy dress competition and many other attractions. The Birds of Prey Centre will also be represented. THE SHOW – The Eardisland Village Show will be held on Saturday, September 13, in the village hall. Schedules are available from several sources including the next edition of the parish magazine and on the table in the church. There is a wide variety of items for children up to the age of 11 who may like to prepare their entries in the school holidays.
