WOMEN’S GUILD - Sue Cooper will be at Rowlestone Village Hall today (Thursday) talking about Caring for God’s Acre. The meeting starts at 7.30pm. Admission is free and all are welcome.

TABLE TOP SALE - Bring along your unwanted spring-clean items to sell at Bacton Parish Room on Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Table space will cost £4 so come and browse the various stalls. The management committee is delighted to have been awarded a grant from Herefordshire Council Community Projects Fund for 50 per cent of the cost of new chairs.

FOUNDATION SERVICE - There will be a Matins service on Sunday at 10am in Dore Abbey.

ASCENSION DAY - A joint service of Holy Communion for the group of parishes will be held at Llangua at 7pm on May 1.

COFFEE MORNING - On Saturday, May 3, in St Michael’s Hall from 10am to 12.30pm.

CHURCHES - Churches Together in Ewyas Harold are to raise funds for Christian Aid. There will be cake, plants, toys and books stalls and also a bring and buy (anything that will sell, but not jumble.) The hall will be open from 8.30am if you wish to drop off items early.

PLANT SALE - In Abbeydore village hall on May 3 from 2pm.

SWAP SHOP - A great chance for a spring clearout! Take books, CDs, DVDs, videos and plants to be swapped or sold at Walterstone Village Hall on May 3 from 11am to 3pm. Anything left at the end of the day will be donated to Oxfam. Entry is 50p (for the upkeep of Walterstone Hall) and refreshments will be served all day.
