THE group has been quite active recently with various events, which have included talks and slide shows.
The bowls section meets twice weekly at Leominster Indoor Club and the bridge, rambling and keep fit sections are all very well supported. There have been interesting trips to the Black Country Museum, Slimbridge bird sanctuary, Webbs garden centre, Abbey-Cwm-Hir near Rhayader and theatre trips to Malvern. Enrolment day for the new season will be at the Richmond Club on September 6, 2pm to 4pm with a membership fee of £8 for the year.
