Bartonsham Retirement Club

Bartonsham Retirement Club They say the sun shines on the righteous, if this is true Bartonsham Retirement Club members must be a virtuous group as they have enjoyed beautiful sunshine on both the day trips this year. Early in the year they went on a tour of the black and white villages in the county, what beautiful scenery, and in the autumn a trip to Ludlow before returning via Bodenham to see their outstanding flower festival in the church.
A date has been arranged for a Christmas dinner returning again to the Axe and Cleaver at Much Birch, we always enjoy the meal and they make us very welcome.
Our charity for 2008 was the Acorns Hospice and the members were pleased to donate £300 to help with their wonderful work.
We would like to wish all our speakers, and former members not able to get to club now, a very Happy Christmas.
