THIS year’s tango ball was held last Saturday in the splendid Green Dragon ballroom. Word must have gone round after our last ball as this second anniversary ball was another roaring success. People came from ten counties spread over the west country, from Shropshire to Devon and as far east as Warwickshire. Music was provided by Leroy Tango Cat internationally known DJ, and live music from the wonderful Tango Fugitive. Tango workshops were led by Leroy, and by Isolde Kanikani, who flew in from Holland for the event, and her partner Eduardo, who also gave a scintillating demonstration-dance, giving the packed audience a breathtaking example of our dance - mostly dumbstruck and wondering if their legs could actually ever achieve such a position!

Workshops were over subscribed and the ball was a sell out. Watch out for next year’s anniversary ball and if you can’t tango - check out our website or come along to the Argentine Tango Club on Tuesday nights. Our website is Hereford Tango@btintenet.com.
