HOSPICE COFFEE MORNING-The Dilwyn Hospice Support Group coffee morning will be held , by kind permission of Mrs Mary Whittal, at Townsend House on Saturday September 20th from 10.30-12.30. The Chairman of the St. Michael’s Hospice Support Group, Anna Wellings, looks forward to seeing you at this event where there will be a prize draw and cakes and produce for sale.
<> CEILIDH-Dilwyn Ceilidh will be held on Saturday September 27th in the Cedar Hall starting at 7pm. A sausage and mash supper will be followed by dancing to "Village Folk", with a "caller" for the dances. Dessert will be served in the interval and there will be a licensed bar. All proceeds will go towards maintaining the Cedar Hall. Tickets cost £6 and £3 (for children under 13) and are available from Trish Spry 01544 318153.<> <>AMATEUR DRAMATIC VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED-Whether you are a star actor in the making, back stage boffin or front of house host with most-est, scenery painter extraordinaire, lighting designer whizz-kid or props and costume buff, local professional actress Helen Wingrave would like to hear from you. Helen’s aim is to involve school children and all interested villagers in a localised production of the magical Christmas tale, “A Christmas Carol” at the Cedar Hall in December.
