THEATRE - It’s comedy all the way with Magna when the ‘Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen Guild’ puts on a production of Macbeth. They pull out all the stops to ensure the evening goes with a bang, in more ways than one! In this hilarious romp, the set is wrong, the lights don’t work, the cat is injured and Mrs Reece, the chairwoman, manfully rallies the troops to put on the best show they can. Nine months of rehearsals culminate in an eventful and hilarious evening which is definately not alright on the night. Can the ladies get to the finals at Welwyn Garden City? Will Thelma get her death scene? For the answers to these and many other questions, join Magna at the Powell Theatre, Church Street, Hereford, from Thursday, May 22, to Saturday, May 24, at 7.30pm.
