THE VILLAGE SHOW - Preparations are well underway for Clehonger’s village show, which will be held on Friday, June 27, at the school, starting at 5.30pm with a parade through the village, with all the children in their fancy dress costumes led by the Carnival King and Queen. There will then be the show on the school field, where the judging of the horticultural, homecraft and homebaking competitions will take place. There will also be stalls and a grand prize draw with some fantastic family day out prizes. The competition classes are open to all members of the public. The finished book will be on sale at the village show.
