A reminder that the Tillington Open Gardens event is taking place this year,on the 5th and 6th of July. There will be 11 gardens open to visitors, between the hours of 2 and 6 pm.

Mark your diaries and plan to attend! Eileen and Peter will host a Cream Tea this year on Sunday, July 6th at Hill House, Bredwardine from 2 - 6pm. All are welcome. In addition to the yummy Cream Teas, there will be Plants and Homemade Candies for purchase. All proceeds will be in aid of Bredwardine and Brobury Village Hall, Charity Number 1041618.

Plan to attend St. Andrew’s Church Fete on Saturday, 2nd August 2008, starting at 2.30 pm located in the Orchard across from the Red Lion Hotel at Bredwardine. Attractions will include a Nursery Rhyme Character Competition, Brass Band, Tombola, Cake & Produce Stalls, Fancy Dress & Skittles. There will be a Raffle to be drawn @ 3.30pm. Teas will be served in the Village Hall. All proceeds in aid of St. Andrew’s Church. Hope to see you there!

BOSBURY IN BLOOM – We were blessed with perfect June weather for Bosbury in Bloom. The first garden visitors’ tickets were being sold before 11am and it was obviously going to be a successful day.

VILLAGE FETE – The theme for this year’s fete will be nursery rhymes and there will be a prize for the best dressed group or person, based on a nursery rhyme. The event starts on the green at 2.30pm on Saturday, June 21.
