CARPET BOWLS - Weekly carpet bowling starts again in Aymestrey village hall on September 7 at 7pm.
Everyone is welcome to come along and have a relaxing night, bowling on two carpets. Previous experience is not necessary and no special equipment apart from flattish shoes is necessary.
Cost is £2 per night and refreshments are provided. For more information call Joe Scamp on 01568 709031.
MOBILE LIBRARY - The library will be at the village hall car park on September 10, from 2.40-2.55pm.
CHURCHES BIKE RIDE - The Historic Churches Trust ‘Great Bike Ride’ takes place on September 12 and local church members will be pedalling their way round the country lanes. The Hereford Historic Churches Trust is non-denominational and in recent years has provided more than £240,000 in grants to help repair and maintain the county’s churches.

COFFEE MORNING - A coffee morning in aid of National Churches Trust will be held at the Garden House, Aymestrey on September 15, from 10am to noon. There will be a bringand- buy stall, a cake stall and a prize draw.
