Bredwardine & Brobury Historical Society

Just a reminder! The Bredwardine & Brobury Historical Society will meet on Thursday, October 16th at 7.30pm at the Damsons. Our new project will be to identify all those whose names are inscribed on the War Memorial, their family and other local connections and their service records in the two World Wars.
When the Memorial was erected, everyone in the village would have known who they were. With the passing of time and memory the sparse inscriptions convey little information. it is hoped that the results may eventually form part of a booklet about Bredwardine.
The society would be very pleased to hear from any relatives of these servicemen who may have mementos or other information. Please contact Sheila or Alan on 01981 500 008.
The Society also welcomes anyone who would like to be a member of this informal group (no subscription so far!).
