OPEN GARDENS – The beautiful gardens at The Old Quarry, Almeley Road, Eardisley, which were open to the public on July 27 as part of the National Gardens Scheme will be open again on Sunday, August 3, from 2pm to 5pm. Admission is £3, children free. There will be teas and plants for sale. A share of the money will be donated to the Acorns Children’s Hospice, the local charity which cares for children of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. Residents are reminded that Almeley has its own website, almeley.net, which contains a lot of useful information.
