OPEN GARDENS – St Mary’s Church will be holding a church weekend with open gardens on Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29. Refreshments will be served in the village hall from 2pm to 5.30pm. Tickets for the summer draw are on sale. On Sunday, the open gardens event will end with Evensong in the church at 6.30pm.
COFFEE MORNING – A successful village coffee morning was held at the Bells Inn, Almeley, on Saturday, June 7. If anyone would like to organise another of these events, please contact Sandra Payne on 01544 340645.
SOCIAL CLUB – Next Wednesday, the Almeley Social Club will be visiting Aulden Farm and gardens at Ivington. Contact Elaine Moran for further details on 01544 327851.
FRIDAY CLUB – Members are invited to the home of Mrs Elsie Lloyd tomorrow (Friday) to join in her birthday celebrations.
