RETIREMENT CLUB - The Retirement Club are today (Thursday) visiting the Welsh Botanical Gardens, leaving the Simpson Hall at 9.30am, and returning at around 6pm.

CAP - The first of two access point sessions in the next seven days will take place today (Thursday) upstairs in the Simpson Hall, and will be a training session, running from 7pm to 9pm. The second session will be on Wednesday, May 21, from 9am to noon, on the ground floor.

FAMILY BINGO - Paintpots Preschool will be holding a bingo evening tomorrow (Friday) in the Simpson Hall, beginning at 7pm, and are hoping for a large turn-out to support this local group.

BALLROOM DANCING - The next two ballroom dancing classes will be taking place on Tuesday, May 20, from 4.15pm to 6.15pm, and then on Wednesday, May 21, between 2pm and 4pm, both in the Simpson Hall.

WI - The next meeting of the Burghill and Tillington branch of the WI will take place on Tuesday, May 20, where members will discuss and vote on the proposed public affairs resolutions. The meeting, beginning at 7.30pm in the Simpson Hall, will also incorporate a craft competition, and a talk on gold embroidery by Mrs Jean Wells.
