HELP is at hand for ex-servicemen and their families.
Members of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) and the military support service the Veterans Agency will be available when the two organisations hold a joint advice surgery.
The surgery takes place in Hereford on May 14 and the aim is to offer help and advice on issues such as pension entitlement and general welfare.
It will be held at the WRVS centre, in Vicarage Road, between 11am and 2.30pm.
Organisers say they could offer help with applications for veterans’ badges, which are available to every former member of the armed services.
