TENBURY Agricultural Society has got the year off to a good start.

It has been going for more than 150 years and continues to be active within the farming community of the border town and the Teme Valley.

Tenbury Agricultural Society held its annual dinner and awards evening at Cadmore Lodge with 197 guests.

Speaker for the evening was Rear Admiral Roger Lane-Nott. He is director general and chief executive of the Agricultural Engineers Association.

The beef was supplied by the society, cooked by Cadmore chefs and carved by six of the guests.
