UP TO 100 tractors, vintage and modern, will be making a 24- mile journey through Herefordshire by-lanes and offroad tracks on May 30.
As part of the Festival of Tractors event organised by Hereford Lions Club they will travel through spectacular countryside.
The Sunday morning trip starts at 9.30am from Hope Farm, Mordiford and the lunch stop will be at Marcle radio mast, a hilltop with stunning views across three counties.
“Tractors play a big part in the farming life of the county and we also have a thriving vintage tractor group, so the Lions’ event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate these great mechanical workhorses,’’ said organiser Mike Hughes.
