New chairman of the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers is David Cotton who farms at Glastonbury, in Somerset


THE new chairman of the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers is David Cotton who farms at Glastonbury, in Somerset.

He has been deputy for three years and succeeds Lyndon Edwards who is stepping down after the same period.

Mr Cotton farms a 160-cow unit in a family partnership, is a council member of Milk Link and chairman of his local branch of the NFU.

The association is the only independent organisation dedicated to representing the interests of British dairy farmers. The RABDF strives to improve the status and well-being of British dairy farmers and the British dairy industry through the provision of technical information, training and lobbying activities.
