THE appointment of three new partners and a new property chairman has been announced by McCartneys.
The company runs five livestock markets over a large area and cover a wide range of farm and property sales and specialist agricultural services.
Chairman John Uffold said each of the new people brought different knowledge and experience to the company.
“As we look to strengthen McCartneys for the future, it’s good to have them on board,’’ he said.
The new directors are Tom Carter, Michael Thomas and Matthew Kelly while Debbie Anderson, a partner in McCartneys in Ludlow, becomes property chairman with the company.
Mr Carter, aged 27, is a chartered sureyor currently running McCartneys’ office in Newtown.
Mr Thomas, 29, is an auctioneer based at Ludlow livestock market.
Mr Kelly, who joined McCartneys from school, heads the company’s accounts.
Debbie Anderson has taken over from Wyn Jones as property chairman, with him stepping down to concentrate on other areas of the business.
