Golden Valley YFC take on the best of the southern area on Saturday at the Civic Hall in Bedworth, Warwickshire.
The club came first at the West Midland Area eliminator in March, scoring 90.5 points out of a possible 100.
Allensmore YFC was placed second, scoring 88 points and Matthew Jones, of Allensmore YFC, collected the award for most promising actor. Staffordshire Federation came third, ahead of Alberbury YFC from Shropshire in fourth place, Whittington & Oswestry YFC, also from Shropshire Federation, were in fifth place, with Brandon & Wolston YFC, from Warwickshire, in sixth place.
In the southern area regional semi final on Saturday, Golden Valley YFC will be competing against Highbridge YFC from Somerset and the Cornwall Federation, who came first and second respectively at the south west area final.
The south east area is represented by Mascalls Young Farmers Club, a school club from the Kent Federation.
The competition, which is being sponsored by Robert Wiseman Dairies, will be adjudicated by Carolyn Drury, who is a member of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators and Anita O’Brien, of the Performing Arts of North Warwickshire and Hinckley College.
The half-hour shows receive marks for five different categories of programme content and presentation. The top two performances will earn a place in the national final in The Winter Gardens, Blackpool, on Sunday, May 4, when they will compete against the winners from the northern area regional semi final and the winning club from Wales, which this year is Llanfyllin YFC from the Montgomery Federation.
The draw for the order of appearance in the regional semi final on Saturday is Cornwall Federation, Mascalls YFC, Highbridge YFC and Golden Valley YFC. The curtain goes up at 1.30pm and tickets can be ordered from the Civic Hall box office on 02476 376707.
