30 Cull cows: A good entry of mostly Friesians sold to a good trade. No superstars forward, a top price of 126p/kg and £1,066.75 per head was achieved.

69 Spring lambs: Spring Lambs sold to a top of £110.50/head, 283p/kg and achieved an average price of 265p/kg. Overall a very pleasing trade.

1,283 hoggets: A shorter entry of hoggets than anticipated met strong demand selling to 212p/kg for export quality sorts. Plain unfinished hogs met less interest with buyers wanting meat and finish. Hogs achieved a very respectable SQQ of 202.25p/kg. The overall average price was £90.80 per head (average weight 45.29 kgs).

383 Cull ewes and rams: A similar entry of ewes met one of the best trades for some time. Best shaped ewes in short supply but those forward sold to £112. Suffolks regularly sold over £100 to a top of £110. Mules sold to £95, Welsh to £65. Considering the large number of small and plain ewes forward the overall average was an outstanding £86.60. First quality ewes sold from £100, second quality from £75. Small and plain ewes sold to this figure. An increased entry of Rams also met a good trade selling to an average of £96.25.
