Store cattle were a good trade with store steers averaging 219.86 pence per kilo and £967.15 per head selling to 261 pence per kilo for nine 345 kilo Limousin steers to £900 per head from R H Hughes and Son, Bwlchycefn. Also to 249 pence per kilo for four 249 kilo Charolais cross steers to £710 per head from W J Barnett and Son, Rhuvid. 246 pence per kilo for 395 kilo Charolais cross steers to £970 per head from G Pugh and Son, The Garth. 245 pence per kilo for a 400 kilo British blue cross steer to £980 from A P Davies, Blaenglyn. 244 pence per kilo for both a 320 kilo Charolais cross steer to £780 from J A D and P M Owens, Woodlands and a 340 kilo Charolais cross steer to £830 from W J and B J Davies, Swydd. 243 pence per kilo for two 410 kilo Charolais cross steers to £995 per head from W R L Price and Co, Pencwm.
