Also to 189 pence per kilo for 43.50 kilo Texel cross hoggets to £82 per head from B E Vale and Co, Wordells. 186 penc per kilo for 41 kilo Texel cross hoggets to £76.20 per head from J Lewis and Son, Carters Farm. 185 pence per kilo for Texel cross hoggets to £81.50 per head from E G Jones and Son, Llanfair Hall. 183 pence per kilo for 41 kilo Texel cross hoggets to £75 per head from both R T Davies, Teme Cottage and P R Price and Son, Llanshay and 41.50 kilo Texel cross hoggets to £75.80 per head from J E and D J Morris, Upper Dolwilkin. 182 pence per kilo for 46 kilo Texel cross hoggets to £83.80 per head from E and W Griffirths Hill House. 180 pence per kilo for both 40 kilo Texel cross lambs to £71.50 per head from S and F Jones, Llanwen and 45 kilo Texel cross lambs to £81 per head from E G Jones and Son, Llanfair Hall.

Also to £83.50 per head for 51 kilo Suffolk cross hoggets from J W Owens, Stockley. £83 per head for 50 kilo Texel cross hoggets from E G Jones and Son, Llanfair Hall. £82.80 per head for 50 kilo Texel cross hoggets from R D J and M E Owens, Old Badlands. £82 per head for 46.50 kilo Clun hoggets from J G Williams and Son, Upper House Farm and 47 kilo Texel cross hoggets from G Roberts and Son, Purlogue.

The cull ewe trade remains similar averaging £58.08 per head and selling to £95.50 per head for Texel ewes from J P Breeze and Son, Fronladies. Also to £85 per head for Suffolk cross ewes from C Gittoes and Son, Village Farm. £78.50 per head for Texel cross ewes from J H A Price and Son, Goat House. £75 per head for Texel cross ewes from E and W Griffiths, Hill House. £71 per head for Suffolk cross ewes from C Gittoes and Son, Village Farm.

Mule ewes sold to £59.50 per head from E and W Griffiths, Hill House. Also to £58 per head for Mule ewes from J B Morris, Lower Litton.

Welsh ewes sold to £43 per head from P R Price and Son, Llanshay.

Cull rams averaged £86.19 per head and sold to £120 per head for two Texel rams from E and W Griffiths, Hill House. Also to £115.50 for a Texel ram from C Gittoes and Son, Village Farm.
