PERSISTENT, and at times torrential rain, failed to dampen spirits at this year's Herefordshire Country Fair.
Visitors to yesterday's fair endured an entire day of inclement weather but that did not put pay to attractions such as equestrian events and a performance by the Knights of the Damned, at Hampton Court Castle in Dinmore.
And with several dog events, such as terrier racing, there were still plenty of smiles on show.
