The ever popular Hereford Spring Carriage show is fast becoming one of the best events in the county.
The May 4 Bank Holiday Monday event will again offer more exciting opportunities with a central new location and better facilities on offer at Hereford Racecourse.
The Hereford & District Driving Group prides itself on having a membership which enjoys all aspects of carriage driving. It embraces competitors from all walks of life and abilities including juniors, veterans and the disabled.
The event is a great showcase for our heritage where history is brought to life with working antique carriages. Horses, ponies and donkeys of all shapes and sizes are seen gainfully engaged in carriage driving where you will see everything from miniature Shetlands to the gentle giants, the Shires.
The show also plans to host a novelty dog show as well as other crowd pleasing classes such as the working Dalmatian carriage dogs, road coaches and the heavy horses.
With such great plans ahead, and title sponsor Sterling Suzuki renewing its kind support for the fourth year, the show is now inviting inquiries from tradestands offering great deals on low cost and affordable pitches.
Further details are available from the club website at hddg.co.uk or by contacting tradestands organiser and club chairman, Kay Walton, on 01981 540209.
