THE Golden Valley Hunt will be running their point-to-point for the 60th year on Saturday.
The finale of the Welsh Border area season, the Bredwardine fixture will have a full card of races, including the Brightwells Confined Championship, the jewel in the area crown.
The breathtaking riverside course is always produced to perfection by the Golden Valley supporters and there are usually several divisions of the maiden events.
The flamboyant Frenchman, Jeremy Mahot leads the table for the area rider’s title from Rob Hodges, while Rachel Reynolds heads Lorna Brooke for the ladies championship, so the results at the meeting may be critical.
The first race is off at 1 pm, and the course (HR3 6DD) can be found near Hay-on-Wye on the B4352, 11 miles from Hereford.
