WITH spring well and truly here, the line-up of horse events and shows in and around Herefordshire is getting longer all the time.
There is something for all levels of horse and rider wanting to go out and compete and have fun over the next few weeks.
On Sunday, May 11, there is a great chance to enjoy the carpet of bluebells around the Malvern Hills when Ledbury Hunt Supporters Club holds its annual bluebell fun ride starting from The Kennels, Bromesberrow. Call 01452 780137 for details.
Hereford and District Riding Club is combining forces with South Herefordshire Hunt Supporters’ Club for an evening show jumping and dressage competition on May 14. Tack Farm Equestrian Centre is hosting a two-day show including classes for showing and working hunters on May 17 and 18. Mountain and moorland classes, along with showing and unaffiliated show jumping, are among the classes at Kingsland Show on May 24. Call 01568 612118 for details and schedules.
