THERE is a busy week ahead for Herefordshire riders with a line-up of events ranging from a fun ride to a fashion show.
Tomorrow (Friday) there is an opportunity for riders to feel the benefits of complementary therapy for themselves and their horses.
Viv Ray will be on hand at Arrow Equestrian, Pembridge, for private craniosacral work costing £15 for a horse treatment and £45 for riders.

There will be speakers, a raffle, table sale and a chance to meet the Herefordshire committee and discuss what is needed for horse riders in the county.
Saturday sees the Monmouthshire Point to Point at Great Killough Farm, Llanvapley, Abergavenny. The first race is at 2pm.
Closer to home is the South Herefordshire Hunt Supporters Club spring fun ride at Caradoc near Ross-on-Wye. This popular ride begins at 10am with the last horse leaving by 1pm. There are about 10 miles of beautiful countryside to enjoy with lots of optional jumps, two all-weather gallops, river meadows and woodland and very little roadwork. Hot refreshments will be available and rosettes will be given to all riders. There will also be a photographer on the course.

On Tuesday, April 8, Vale of Arrow Riding Club is holding a spring fashion show at Hintons, Leominster, at 7.30pm. This is a chance to browse the latest season's clothing with a chance to buy afterwards. Entrance is £5 to include refreshments. Call Lucy on 01568 620545 to book.
With spring upon us, there is another opportunity to enjoy a fun ride on Saturday, April 12. The Much Cowarne Parish Fun Ride runs from 10am to 1pm with 10 miles of scenic riding on farmland, green and country lanes. The venue is about three miles off the A4103 Worcester to Hereford Road. Entrance for adults is £15 and £10 for under-16s. Under-12s must be accompanied. There will be rosettes for all riders. Call 07970 156620 for further details.
Marden and District Riding Club is holding its annual family show on Sunday, April 13. This outdoor show at Houghton Court, Bodenham, has a range of classes for all ages and abilities. For more details contact Debbie Rogers on 01432 820574.
