A HEREFORD company is celebrating after scooping one of the UK’s most prestigious business awards.

Rotherwas-based TRP Sealing Systems Ltd has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for the second year running, and is one of 85 to triumph in the International Trade category.

Awards are held for five years and entitle winning businesses to fly the Queen’s Award flag and use its emblem on letter headings, advertising, goods.

TRP managing director Simon Children said: “Of course we are absolutely delighted that, for a second time, we have received this prestigious award in recognition of achievement in international trade.

“Winning the award is a royal seal of approval for our team in Hereford as well as our partners and a testament to – and recognition of – their hard work and effort over the last two years. We all share in this honour.” TRP started trading in 1981, manufacturing elastomeric gaskets for plate-type heat ex-changers.
