DESPItE the un-springlike weather the dawn chorus still brings joy to the morning.

Bird Patrol, the Hereford Times site dedicated to monitoring migrant birds, continues to receive reports of these and other resident birds from many locations in the county.

We already have reports of the nightingale in Herefordshire, but what of our other song birds, can anyone report the song of the skylark this summer ?

Bird Patrol welcomes readers’ messages and reports of swallows, house martins, swifts and other birds.

Log on to herefordtimes.com/ features/bird patrol to keep in touch with our summer visitors.
