The best move we ever made

After a lifetime living in the North West, Vera and Dez Bromage have taken to enjoying the countryside around their new home in Presteigne and have readily supported Bird Patrol, listening and looking out for migrant summer visitors.
Now, they have contacted Bird Patrol to say they heard the cuckoo at 11.15am and later in the afternoon of Saturday, April 26, at Rockbridge Residential Park in Presteigne.
"We moved here in November last year from Manchester and have been privileged to see and hear many birds that we have only ever seen on TV before. It was the best move we ever made."
