Coach could be in the pink for Hereford's Little Princess Trust charity

THE race is on to help put a Herefordshire charity on the road to success by voting for it in a national competition.

Supporters of the Little Princess Trust have entered the Bling My Coach competition, which allows the winner to have a National Express coach decorated in any way they wish.

Those associated with the trust, which provides wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment, have designed their entry with the charity’s colour, pink, in mind.

The design has reached the final five with voting open until midnight tomorrow (Friday).

If successful, the coach will be the property of the trust for one weekend.

It will be used to transport trust supporters wishing to see next year’s Pink Car Rally, featuring a convoy of pink vehicles travelling from Hereford to Oxford Children’s Hospital.

Victoria Gill’s blonde locks will be donated to the trust to be made into a real hair wig for youngsters who have lost their hair through cancer treatment.

The Tarrington resident hopes to raise £400 as well as awareness for the charity.

The cut will take place at Peter Prosser Ltd in Church Street, Hereford, on November 6.
