Hereford couple celebrate 70 years of wedded bliss

A HEREFORD couple involved with the city’s Salvation Army all their life have celebrated 70 years of marriage.
Ken and Joyce Farr, from Bobblestock, both still play in the church band despite being aged 91 and 90 respectively.
The couple have three children and eight grandchildren.
They received a card from the Queen and a bunch of flowers from those at the Salvation Army base on Edgar Street to celebrate their platinum anniversary.
