A COUPLE who met at dances held across the county have waltzed through 50 years of marriage.
Denzil and Rona Lloyd, both 72, celebrated half a century after tying the knot at Winforton Church.
They first set up home in Stretton Sugwas and have lived on Grandstand Road, Hereford for the last 35 years.
Denzil, from Bredwardine, worked as an engineer with Special Metals Wiggin for 36 years. Meanwhile Rona, so-called because she was born on Coronation Day in 1937, worked at her father’s grocery shop in her home village of Winforton.
The pair have two children, Maria and Rolf, and four grandchildren.
