AN Hereford-based estate agency has appointed a new member of staff to its Rural Professional Division.

Alivia Braid joins Sunderlands & Thompsons having completed her relevant qualifications.

“The partnership are delighted to have Alivia as part of our rural professional team," said Matthew Nicholls, a partner at the St Peter's Square firm.

"She will be able to advise and assist both existing and new clients on a range of rural matters particularly with the significant changes to Single Farm Payment on the horizon.

"Alivia will be of particular assistance to those farming clients getting to grips with the new BPS scheme, crop diversification and greening rules in Wales and the changes to the new environmental schemes in England."

The new member of staff said: "I am excited about the new opportunities that are in front of me and look forward to reaffirming and forging new working relationships with clients to assist them in their various rural issues."
