TWENTY volunteers will be helping with the Big Apple weekend in and around Much Marcle on October 12 and 13.
A Big Apple trail will link eight venues with farms, orchards, cider mills and barns open to visitors including Woodredding Farm which is taking part for the first time.
The farm is based at Yatton, near Ross-on-Wye, and there will be a chance to see cider fruit and perry pears pressed using an 18th century press.
This is the Big Apple's 25th year and some volunteers have been involved right from the very beginning in 1989, while others are new this year.
Entry to all eight main venues will be free but there will be donation boxes for anyone wishing to support the event.
