LOTS of fun days out and activities throughout the summer holidays to keep your children busy.

The New Hill Centre, Upton-upon-Severn - Kids Kapers Summer Holiday Club

Come along and enjoy a fortnight of fun during the summer holidays. Activities range from arts and crafts, sports, fun and games, computers, cooking and much more. 9am. The New Hill Centre, Upton-upon-Severn. £18 per day. Telephone 07773 484171 or 01684 592363.

Cecilia Hall Dance Centre, Malvern - Summer Workshops: Dance, Drama and Singing

Each day is split into four, two-hourly age/ability sessions. Week 1 is mainly dance and Week 2 includes script. Taught by a fully qualified teacher with a CRB Enhanced Disclosure. Join the Parks Play Rangers MOST THURSDAYS for messy play, nursery songs and rhymes, outdoor games and loads more. Sessions are free but parents will need to stay. Meet outside the Sons of Rest. 12.30pm. Cripplegate Park, New Road, Worcester. Free. Telephone 01905 722233.

Saturday, August 14 - Splashing fun! The River, Worcester South Quay

Adopt your duck for the St Richard's Hospice duck race in association with Worcester Festival. The duck race takes place at 2pm from Worcester Bridge, South Quay to Worcester Cathedral. To adopt your small, large, or fancy dress duck and watch it race down the river contact Lizzie Brazier on 01905 763963. The first duck to make it down to the Cathedral is the winner! Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Prices are : Small Duck- £3, Big Duck- £5 or Fancy Dress Duck £25

Wednesday, August 25 – Gheluvelt Play Day.

Looking for something to do during the summer holidays? ‘Carnival Crafts’, 10am to 12 noon – Led by an artist make beautiful decorations and instruments which can be brought along for the procession in the afternoon. ‘Drumming Workshop’, 1pm to 3pm – Led by Drumlove learn to play traditional African drums ending in a procession around the park. Saturday July 24 – Tuesday, August 31 - Summer Holiday Fun for Kids at Webbs of Wychbold

Riverside Ramble. Pick up an entry form at the reception desk and find the answers to the questions in the Riverside Gardens. Everyone returning a completed form will go into a draw to win a prize. 11am - 4pm FREE.

Tuesday, July 27 to Friday, August 20 - Holiday Hotspot at Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle, Worcester.

10.30am -4.30pm: Four weeks of fun children’s activities to brighten the summer holidays! Bank Holiday Monday: Family fun with a variety of entertainment including face painting, craft activities and competitions.

Scamps is a specially designed activity programme for 3-5s that brings together nursery-style care with sport and activity. Scamps combines fun and learning by breaking down complex sports and games into manageable chunks, providing a good introduction to sport for young children. £79. 8:39am - 12:30pm

Saturday, August 7 to Sunday 8 - Avoncroft Medieval Tournament Weekend A new medieval festival to Worcestershire as we bring the village festival alive with jousts, displays of martial prowess, medieval sports, games and fun. Come to Avoncroft and see a spectacular lance shattering jousting tournament, cheer on your knights, archers and sportsmen as they fight it out for honour and prizes. A fantastic day out for all ages Saturday and Sunday between 10.30am and 4pm Adults £6.60, Seniors £5.50, Children £3, Family £16.50

Thursday, August 12 - Play Day 2010 - Our Place in Cripplegate Park.

Looking for something to do during the long summer holidays?? Come and join in some of the exciting activities in the park - 12 noon to 3pm. There will be - drumming, poi dancing, multi-sports, den making, pottery, pebble painting, face painting and lots more! It's free, it's fun and its for everyone.
