PUPILS at a county school combined cars and cakes to raise money for relief efforts in Haiti.
Youngsters at Stretton Sugwas Primary School raised more than £400 by holding a car wash and cake sale.
“They got a bit cold towards the end but they had a great time,” said teacher Barry Thompson.
“Two or three girls saw some headlines about the amount of children being orphaned and wanted to do something about it.”
