A KINGTON school has encouraged pupils to follow their dreams with the help of special guests.
Lady Hawkins High School welcomed the School of Dreams, a two-day thinking skills programme supported by Honda UK, to motivate pupils to achieve their goals.
The school welcomed George Rees, a business manager from Steels in Hereford, and Paul Westwood, the area sales manager for Honda UK.
Mr Rees will be the link between Honda UK and the school with students creating their ‘legacy plan’, a programme to improve the local community.
More than 40 students and staff spent two days working in teams, taking on challenges designed to develop individual thinking skills and moving towards fulfilling their dreams.
“The impact on the school was almost immediate with energised students, while ideas and concepts were being shared quickly among staff,” said John Bohan, head of faculty for art and technology.
Students and staff from the local primary feeder schools in Almeley, Eardisley, Pembridge and Kington were also invited.
