KINGTON Primary School pupils are hoping lessons will go with a bang during their annual science week.
Students from nursery to Year 6 will spend time building and testing rockets, perfecting their circus skills and getting hands-on with various animals.
The Black Mountain Falconry Centre and Mooncarrot Circus Skills will both visit thanks to funding from the Friends of Kington School.
Deputy head Katie Flood said: “The aim is to raise the profile of science in school, give teachers and children space to come ‘off-curriculum’ and immerse themselves in science, exploring, generating questions and having fun, whilst reinforcing some key scientific learning.”
