BARRS Court School played host to a special visitor recently, when Shadow Minister for Schools Nick Gibb MP paid a visit.

Headteacher Richard Aird met Mr Gibb last summer when he was invited to Westminster to talk about the future of special schools and, in particular, the innovative work being carried out in several areas at Barrs Court.

"Nick congratulated our school on the progress we have made since my visit to Westminster," said Mr Aird.
