TWO dogs which went missing in a disused drain have been found.

The Jack Russell Patterdale Cross dogs named Troy and Enzo went missing while out for a walk along Bishops Meadow in Hereford on Saturday afternoon.

The six-year-old dogs disappeared into a disused drain on the banks of the River Wye and their owner, Marcus Tomkins, spent most of yesterday searching for them with the help of local firm Williams Drainage.

But Mr Tomkins confirmed this morning that the two have came out of the disused drain pipe overnight.

After one of the helpers thought they could hear a distant wimpering one of the dogs came out of a hole the team had managed to dig at around 7.50pm.

The team searched for the other dog until 10.30 when they decided to call it a night.

However, Mr Tomkins remained looking for the remaining dog and used cooked bacon to tempt the dog out at around 3.30am.
