AN 11-YEAR-old girl with cerebral palsy is taking on a fundraising challenge to walk up the Sugar Loaf mountain near Abergavenny.
Olivia Gardiner from Ross-on-Wye has right-sided hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy which affects her right leg.
She is very weak in her right leg and has to have injections into the muscles every nine months to relax the muscles.
She is taking on the challenge with her mum, Michelle, who works at TSB in Ross.
Michelle, 48, said: "Exercise is more difficult for Olivia due to her condition so this is going to be a lot more challenging than last year.
"I am also going to find it extremely difficult as I have fibromyalgia which also makes any exercise difficult."
They are raising money for Home-Start Herefordshire, which the Ross branch of TSB is also raising money for.
Last year they did the memory walk for Alzheimer's Society and Olivia raised more than £700.
