A PREMIUM drinks producer based near Lyonshall has been recognised for its outstanding bottle design.

White Heron Drinks, founded by Jo Hilditch, completely rebranded its British Cassis product last year.

And the brand is obviously still proving popular as it picked up awards for Best Design, Best Duty Free, Best Standard and Best Technical Excellence at the World Drink Awards 2017.

The awards, which were announced at a ceremony at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel in London, are the global awards selecting the very best in all internationally recognised styles of drinks.

Mrs Hilditch said: "We are absolutely delighted to have received these accolades. We have high hopes for business expansion in 2017 and this world class recognition will boost our plans, both in the UK and overseas as we focus on the export market."

Presented by TheDrinksReport.com, the World Drinks Awards select, reward and promote the world’s best drinks to consumers and trade across the globe.

The awards are a remarkable achievement for the brand’s relaunch following an appearance on Dragons’ Den in 2015.

With three dragons wanting to invest, Mrs Hilditch decided to go it alone but took inspiration from their excitement in the brand.

The new bottle design was created by Craig Mackinlay at Breeze Creative Design Consultants. Since launching the new design, sales of British Cassis have increased 300 per cent year on year.
