THE fourth beer and cider festival is taking place in Ross-on-Wye this Bank Holiday weekend.

Rossbeerfest is a charity fundraiser by the town's Lions and Rotary clubs and showcases locally produced beers and ciders.

It runs on Saturday from 12 to 11pm and on Sunday from 12 to 10pm at the Ross Rowing Club site next to the River Wye.

There is a undercover 'beer hall' marquee and new for 2017, there will be a prosecco bar.

Live music will be provided by local bands, including Duncan Mccorkindale, the Forfeits, OCD and Ragwort. Headlining on Saturday night are Taffy was a Thief and on Sunday, Crockers Ash Scratch Band.

Entry is £5 to include a free glass and festival guide. Tokens can be bought to buy drinks (cash only). For more details go to www.rossbeerfest.org, where tickets can also be purchased.
