A MAN was taken to hospital after the van he was driving collided with a tree.

Emergency services were called to the B4349 between Clehonger and Kingstone at around 7am this morning.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said part of the tree went through the windscreen of the vehicle.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, sustained a head injury and was taken to Hereford County Hospital.
