A road close to Hereford city centre has been closed off over safety fears.
The fire brigade put up tape at either end of Mill Street earlier this evening.
The road was closed after people living in the street voiced their fears that one of the largest trees in the street was leaning at a precarious angle and could be about to topple over.
The tree is on the Castle Green side of the road and it is hoped tree surgeons will be on the scene soon to assess the situation.
Residents on Mill Street believe the tree has been affected by Storm Doris but two dog walkers claimed the trunk has always been at the sloping angle.
