POLICE were called to reports of a concern for safety for a member of the public at 2.30pm today in Bobblestock.
Officers were called to Chepstow Walk and a member of the public was taken to hospital by ambulance, a police spokesman said.
There was no criminal activity, the spokesman added.
It is believed a woman sustained stab wounds.
An air ambulance attended the scene.
The ambulance service is unable to give any more details at this time.
